This Privacy Policy explains how Prodopia ("Prodopia", "we") collects and uses personal data when you visit prodopia.com or order from us. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.

1. What we collect

Information you send us — your name, phone number, company, email, delivery address, the products you're interested in, and names, logos or text for personalisation. This usually reaches us through WhatsApp, phone, email or in our store.
Recipient details — names (and sometimes addresses) of the people you are gifting, which you share so we can personalise and deliver. Please share them only if you are entitled to.
Information stored on your device — your gift list, music preference and cookie choices are saved in your own browser (local storage) and are not sent to us unless you send the list on WhatsApp.
Usage data — if you allow analytics or marketing cookies, tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel and Microsoft Clarity collect information like pages viewed, clicks, device and approximate location. See our Cookie Policy.

2. How we use it

To answer enquiries, prepare quotes and proofs, produce and deliver orders, and issue invoices.
To provide customer support and keep records required by tax and other laws.
With your consent, to measure and improve the Site and our advertising.
To send you offers on WhatsApp or email only if you have asked us to; you can opt out any time by replying "STOP" or writing to us.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business — courier and logistics partners, payment providers, WhatsApp/Meta (as the messaging platform), Google and Microsoft (analytics and advertising, if you consent), and our hosting provider — and when required by law.

4. WhatsApp

When you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are also processed by WhatsApp/Meta under their own privacy policy.

5. Retention

We keep order and invoice records for as long as tax law requires (generally 8 years), and enquiry chats for as long as needed to serve you. Personalisation files (logos, name lists) are deleted or archived after the order is complete unless you ask us to keep them for repeat orders.

6. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please never share card numbers, passwords or OTPs with us over chat.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to exercise these rights for you. Write to our grievance officer below; we will respond within the time required by law.

8. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 18. Parents or guardians place orders for personal gifts on their behalf.
